The human figure has been my most significant inspiration. I have followed this exploration of the human form through drawing, painting and sculpting, fabrics, and now defining the space around the figure. These marks made, while drawing the the figure from life, thread into my design work as simple yet explorative lines, now an integral part of my design language.

In 2006 I collaborated with a, Colorado based, contemporary dance company, two visual artists and a videographer to create a cross pollinating, multi layer installation called “Life as Ritual.” This project was a culmination of my interest in the human figure, textiles, and hand tailoring used as sketch line.

The “Life As Ritual” project inspired handmade print tiles that became sublimated prints for two Vans down jackets: one women's lace pattern and a men's suiting camouflage.

Works ranging from 1989 to present.
